Learn English with FREE Classes!

The Conversational English ministry at GRPC offers classes for those who are fluent or speak no English.  We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced classes for anyone interested in learning Conversational English.

Beginner Class – for those who speak little or no English

Intermediate Class – for those who know just enough English to “get by”

Advanced Class – for those who want to improve their pronunciation, understand idioms, and feel more comfortable conversing at work, at school, and in the community

WHEN?

Wednesday mornings (September through May) 9:30 – 11:30

Register in person on Wednesday, September 6 or any Wednesday throughout the semester.

Classes begin September 13, 2024.

COST?

All classes are free. Students may be asked to purchase a textbook costing $15-$30.

Rachel’s English  is a YouTube channel that hosts videos on American pronunciation. You can subscribe for free, and you will receive a new video every week.  Below are sample videos from Rachel’s English.

“Learning English” gives a choice of many short radio programs in English using a 2000 word vocabulary. The words are also printed on the screen so you can read along.

It also has short videos in easy English on a variety of topics. The speaker is facing the camera, and there are subtitles.
